노량진2동 — 노량진1재정비촉진구역 이주 개시
관리처분계획인가를 마치고 본격 이주에 들어갑니다. 2006년 지정 이후 20년 만의 성과로, 향후 3,000세대가 넘는 대규모 주거단지로 거듭날 전망입니다. 이주부터 착공까지 신속히 지원합니다.
상도1동 — 청석채행복주택 복합화 완공
행복주택 36호와 창업지원센터·공영주차장을 함께 갖춘 복합 공간이 완공됐습니다. 36호 중 17호가 동작구 청년에게 우선 공급되어 청년 주거 안정과 지역 주차난 해소에 기여합니다.
상도2동 — 제2호 수·과학 놀이터 조성 완료
사당동 수학놀이터의 인기에 힘입어 과학까지 확대한 '동작 제2호 수·과학 놀이터'(상도현대메트로 103동)가 9월 말 개소 예정입니다. 1층 수·과학 융합교실, 2층 체험형 놀이터로 5세~고등학생이 이용합니다.
상도3동 — 새마을부녀회 '사랑의 계절김치' 만들기
여름 입맛을 돋우는 나박김치 등 계절김치를 직접 담가 관내 취약계층 40가구에 전달하며 안부를 살폈습니다. 민·관 협력으로 따뜻한 나눔 행정을 이어갑니다.
상도4동 — 1인가구 거점 지원센터 조성 추진
커뮤니티·소통 공간, 공유주방, 옥상정원 등을 갖춘 '1인가구 거점 지원센터'가 10월 준공을 목표로 추진됩니다. 6월 주민 설문 결과를 반영해 실용적으로 설계했습니다.
흑석동 — 흑석차고지 이전, 공영주차장 조성
9호선 흑석역 인근 '흑석차고지(서달로 172)'를 이전하고 그 자리에 공영주차장을 새로 조성합니다. 청소차량 진출입에 따른 환경 문제와 전통시장·대학가 주변 주차 부족을 함께 해소할 계획입니다.
사당1동 — 사당 한누리채 행복주택 복합화 추진
사당1동 1046-1 일대에 임대주택 46호와 공영주차장 68면을 갖춘 복합건물이 9월 중 준공 예정입니다. 청년 주거 부담을 낮추고 만성적 주차난 해소에 기여합니다.
사당2동 — 시원한 여름나기 '수박퐁당 동캉스'
폭염에 취약한 홀몸 어르신에게 제철 과일 도시락과 보양식 꾸러미를 전달하고 말벗 활동으로 정서적 고립감 해소에 나섰습니다. 주민 성금으로 마련한 나눔에 동행네트워크·복지플래너가 함께했습니다.
사당3동 — 신남성초 앞 보도육교 승강기 설치
교통약자의 편리하고 안전한 이동을 위해 신남성초 앞 보도육교에 승강기 설치 공사가 진행 중입니다. 보도블록 정비와 안전 난간 설치를 함께 추진해 11월 준공 예정입니다.
사당4동 — 꽃보다 어르신! 청춘염색방
취약계층 어르신의 머리를 정성껏 염색해 드리고 발 마사지 등 건강관리와 따뜻한 소통의 시간을 가졌습니다. 작은 변화에서 정서적 돌봄까지 세심하게 챙긴 자리였습니다.
사당5동 — 까치산근린공원 무허가건물 철거공사
보상완료지 내 무허가건물 등 지장물을 철거하고 훼손된 부지를 정비해 도심 속 녹지공간으로 탈바꿈합니다. 2023년부터 단계적으로 추진해 온 정비의 일환입니다.
대방동 — 신대방지구 지구단위계획 재정비 고시
역세권 교통 요충지인 신대방지구의 지구단위계획이 고시되며 변화가 본격화됩니다. 저층 노후 건축물의 개발여건을 마련하고 상업·업무 복합기능을 강화할 계획입니다.
신대방1동 — 초보 부모를 위한 이유식 교실
임신부와 영유아 양육자를 대상으로 이유식 이론 교육과 실습을 진행합니다. 선착순 마감이며 신청은 신대방1동 주민센터 전화(02-820-2970) 또는 방문.
신대방2동 — 구릉공영주차장 운영중단
집중호우 침수 예방을 위한 '대심도 빗물배수터널' 유입수직구 설치 공사로 구릉공영주차장이 운영을 중단합니다. 공사 기간에는 인근 '대방생태공영주차장(대방동 1길 9)'을 이용해 주세요.
Noryangjin 1-dong — hands-on heatwave measures
The outdoor cooling shelter 'Happy-dong' at Nodeulnaru Park wrapped up its run; water-spray trucks operate routinely, and during heat alerts bottled water and ice packs were handed out at key sites and all 15 dong offices. On-site response continues until the late heat passes.
Noryangjin 2-dong — relocation begins for Redevelopment Zone 1
With the management-disposal plan approved, full-scale relocation begins — a milestone 20 years after the 2006 designation. The site is set to become a large complex of more than 3,000 households, with support from relocation through groundbreaking.
Sangdo 1-dong — Cheongseokchae public housing complex completed
A complex combining 36 public-housing units with a startup-support center and a public parking lot is complete. 17 of the 36 units go first to young Dongjak residents, easing youth housing and local parking pressures.
Sangdo 2-dong — 2nd Math & Science Playground finished
Building on the popularity of Sadang's math playground, the '2nd Math & Science Playground' (Sangdo Hyundai Metro Bldg 103) opens in late September. A math-science fusion classroom on the 1st floor and a hands-on playground on the 2nd serve ages 5 to high school.
Sangdo 3-dong — Saemaul Women's Assoc. seasonal-kimchi sharing
Members made seasonal kimchi such as nabak-kimchi and delivered it to 40 vulnerable households while checking on their wellbeing — part of ongoing public-private sharing efforts.
Sangdo 4-dong — single-person household support center underway
A center with community and lounge spaces, a shared kitchen and a rooftop garden targets completion in October. Its layout reflects a June resident survey for practical, needed spaces.
Heukseok-dong — bus depot to move, public parking to follow
The Heukseok bus depot (172 Seodal-ro) near Line 9 Heukseok Station will relocate, with a public parking lot built in its place — addressing both environmental issues from cleaning-vehicle traffic and parking shortages near the market and university.
Sadang 1-dong — Hannurichae public housing complex underway
A complex with 46 rental units and 68 parking spaces near 1046-1 Sadang 1-dong is due for completion in September, easing youth housing costs and chronic parking shortages.
Sadang 2-dong — a cool summer 'staycation' for seniors
Seasonal-fruit lunchboxes and nourishing-food kits were delivered to heat-vulnerable seniors living alone, with companionship visits to ease isolation — funded by resident donations and joined by the Companion Network and welfare planners.
Sadang 3-dong — footbridge elevator at Sinnamseong Elementary
An elevator is being installed on the pedestrian overpass in front of Sinnamseong Elementary for safer access for children, people with disabilities and seniors, along with sidewalk repairs and safety railings — completion expected in November.
Sadang 4-dong — 'Seniors in bloom' hair-dye salon
Vulnerable seniors had their hair dyed with care and enjoyed foot massages and warm conversation — small changes paired with attentive emotional care.
Sadang 5-dong — clearing unauthorized structures at Kkachisan Park
Unauthorized structures on compensated land are being removed and damaged ground restored, turning the area into urban green space — part of phased improvements underway since 2023.
Daebang-dong — Sindaebang district unit plan re-notified
The district unit plan for Sindaebang — a transit hub — has been notified, kicking off change. It sets development conditions for aging low-rise buildings and strengthens mixed commercial-business functions.
Sindaebang 1-dong — weaning-food class for new parents
Theory and hands-on sessions on weaning food for expectant mothers and caregivers of infants. First-come, first-served — apply by phone (02-820-2970) or in person at the Sindaebang 1-dong office.
Sindaebang 2-dong — Gureung public parking lot closed
The Gureung lot closes for shaft-installation work on a deep rainwater drainage tunnel to prevent flooding. During construction, please use the nearby Daebang Eco Public Parking Lot (9 Daebang-dong 1-gil).

여름 더위를 씻어낼 물놀이 명소 '노량진 물총대첩' — 박준필 명예기자
노량진수산시장과 마주한 노량진축구장(노들로 688)이 올여름 도심 속 물놀이터로 변신해 8월 8일(토)부터 17일(월)까지 열흘간 '동작구 어린이 노량 물총대첩'이 열렸다. 운영은 오전 10시~오후 5시(13~14시 점심).
풀장·슬라이드·놀이 바운스 등 놀이시설이 마련됐고 풀장마다 안전요원이 배치돼 보호자도 안심할 수 있었다. 가족 샤워실, 에어 그늘막, 쉼터, 포토존도 갖췄다. 입장료가 없고 물총·구명조끼도 무료 대여라 알찬 구성이었다. 개인 수영복·수영모·아쿠아슈즈만 준비하면 되고 마술·난타·춤 공연도 더해졌다. 이 행사가 매 여름 동작구민을 찾아오길 기대한다.
이웃과 함께 만든 여름 별미 '초계탕 만들기' — 김윤희 명예기자
8월 5일 노량진2동주민센터 지하 다목적실에서 요리교실 '초계탕 만들기'가 열렸다. 노량진2동 '동행하는 동네부엌' 공유사업의 일환으로, 주민들이 함께 음식을 만들고 나누며 교류를 넓히려는 취지였다.
초계탕은 담백한 닭고기와 시원한 육수가 어우러져 입맛 잃기 쉬운 여름에 좋은 음식이다. 참여자들은 조리법을 배우고 이야기를 나눴으며, 만든 음식을 동네 취약계층 가구에 전달해 '공유'의 가치를 실천했다. 지역공동체는 이웃과 함께 음식을 만들고 이야기를 나누는 작은 만남에서 시작된다.
안전한 동작 — '동치미' 이용 방법
'동치미(동작구 치안 미세조정)'는 누구나 스마트폰으로 비긴급 생활 민원을 제보하는 비대면·상시 창구다. 긴급 범죄 신고는 112, 생활 불편·기초질서 위반은 동치미로. ① QR 스캔 ② 유형 선택(환경 개선·시설 보강·생활 무질서 등) ③ 위치·내용 작성 및 현장 사진 첨부 ④ 피드백을 원하면 연락처 남기고 제출. 제보는 취약지 파악과 맞춤 순찰 노선 정비에 활용된다.
A summer cool-down spot: the 'Noryangjin Water-Gun Battle' — honorary reporter Park Jun-pil
The Noryangjin soccer field (688 Nodeul-ro), facing the fish market, became an urban water playground this summer. The 'Dongjak Children's Noryang Water-Gun Battle' ran for ten days, Sat Aug 8 to Mon Aug 17, from 10:00 to 17:00 (lunch 13:00–14:00).
Pools, slides and a bounce house were on hand, with a lifeguard at every pool so parents could relax. There were family showers, air canopies, a rest area and a photo zone. Admission was free and water guns and life vests were lent free of charge. Visitors only needed a swimsuit, swim cap and aqua shoes; magic, nanta and dance performances added to the fun. May it return to Dongjak every summer.
A summer delicacy made with neighbors: 'making chogyetang' — honorary reporter Kim Yun-hui
On Aug 5, a cooking class for chogyetang was held in the basement multipurpose room of the Noryangjin 2-dong office. Part of the 'Neighborhood Kitchen' sharing project, it aimed to widen exchange as residents cooked and shared food together.
Chogyetang pairs mild chicken with a cool broth — good for summer when appetite fades. Participants learned the recipe and chatted, then delivered the dishes to vulnerable local households, putting the value of 'sharing' into practice. Community begins with small gatherings where neighbors cook and talk together.
A safer Dongjak — how to use 'Dongchimi'
'Dongchimi' (fine-tuning Dongjak's public safety) is an always-on, contactless channel for reporting non-urgent civic issues by smartphone. Call 112 for emergencies; use Dongchimi for nuisances and minor-order violations. ① Scan the QR ② choose a type (environment, facilities, disorder, etc.) ③ enter the location and details with a site photo ④ leave a contact number if you want feedback, then submit. Reports help map weak spots and refine patrol routes.

동작구의회Dongjak-gu Council
제351회 임시회 — 2026년 주요 업무계획 보고 및 안건 심사
동작구의회는 8월 24일부터 31일까지 8일간 제351회 임시회를 열고 2026년 주요 업무계획을 보고받고 조례안 등을 심사했다. 첫날 제1차 본회의에서 총괄보고를 받았으며, 강한옥 의장은 개회사에서 '구민을 직접 찾아가는 의회'가 되겠다며 주민 의정참여 확대 의지를 밝혔다.
송동석·정유나·김은하·오재영·이주현·이수홍·박승준·나현희 의원은 5분 자유발언을 통해 옛 보건소 부지 실버타운 건립의 의회 동의 절차, 사당4동 주민센터 신축 지연과 재정 부담, 시의원 민원소통실 운영 기준, 동작스타 운영 축소 영향, 산하기관 인사, 외부 재원 확보, 공직자의 정치적 중립 등을 지적하며 대책을 요구했다.
흑석동·사당1·2동 주민 27명이 본회의를 방청했고, 회의 후 주민 소통 간담회가 열렸다. 25일부터는 상임위원회별 소관 부서 업무보고가 이어졌으며, 7월 말 기준 추진실적·예산 집행현황 등을 놓고 계획 반영 여부와 집행 적정성, 실효성 등을 질의했다.
이번 임시회에서는 「동작구의회 청소년 의회체험 지원 조례안」, 「동작구 영어교육 활성화 및 지원에 관한 조례안」 등을 심사해 8월 31일 제2차 본회의에서 최종 처리했다. 안건별 처리 결과는 동작구의회 홈페이지(assembly.dongjak.go.kr)에서 확인할 수 있다.
동작경찰서와 지역 치안 강화 협력 논의
의회는 8월 7일 동작경찰서를 방문해 치안 현황을 공유하고 협력 방안을 논의했다. 강한옥 의장과 의원, 경찰서장 등이 서울경찰 주요 활동과 개서 60주년 홍보영상을 시청한 뒤 관내 치안 현안과 추진 과제를 논의했고, 112상황실에서 긴급신고 대응체계를 확인하고 '추모의 벽'을 찾아 순직 경찰관을 기렸다.
지역사회와 소통하며 협력 기반 마련
제10대 의회 출범 이후 의회는 동작구 공무원노조, 사회복지시설협의회, 서울경찰청 광역예방순찰대, 군부대 관계자 등과 면담·간담회를 갖고 각 기관의 역할과 지역 현안을 공유했다. 분야별 현장의 목소리를 듣고 소통 창구를 넓히는 데 의미가 있다.
351st Extraordinary Session — 2026 work plans and bill review
The council met for eight days, Aug 24–31, for its 351st session to receive the 2026 work plans and review ordinances and other items. A general report was heard at the first plenary; in her opening address, Speaker Kang Han-ok pledged a council that 'goes out to residents' and vowed to widen resident participation.
In five-minute floor speeches, council members Song Dong-seok, Jeong Yu-na, Kim Eun-ha, Oh Jae-yeong, Lee Ju-hyeon, Lee Su-hong, Park Seung-jun and Na Hyeon-hui raised the council-consent process for a silver-town on the former health-center site, delays and costs of the new Sadang 4-dong office, operating standards for a city-councilor complaints office, the impact of scaling back 'Dongjak Star', staffing at affiliated bodies, securing outside funding, and political neutrality of public officials — and demanded remedies.
27 residents from Heukseok-dong and Sadang 1·2-dong observed the plenary, and a resident dialogue followed. From the 25th, standing committees received department work reports; members questioned whether year-start plans were reflected and whether budget execution as of end-July was appropriate and effective.
The session reviewed bills including one supporting youth council experiences and one promoting English education in Dongjak, finalizing them at the second plenary on Aug 31. Results by item are available at the council website (assembly.dongjak.go.kr).
Talks with Dongjak Police on strengthening local safety
On Aug 7 the council visited Dongjak Police Station to share the safety situation and discuss cooperation. The speaker, members and the station chief watched briefings on Seoul Police activities and a 60th-anniversary video, discussed local issues and tasks, checked the 112 situation room's emergency-response system, and honored fallen officers at the 'Wall of Remembrance'.
Building a base for cooperation through community dialogue
Since the 10th council took office, it has held meetings with the Dongjak civil-servants' union, the social-welfare facilities council, the Seoul Police wide-area patrol unit and military units, sharing each body's role and local issues — widening channels for on-the-ground voices.

Lee Yu-jin (Sindaebang-dong): A walk in Boramae Park is a big piece of a happy daily life. Seeing the lotus blooms and cute ducks, walking side by side with my husband is precious. Even without a special trip, moments in the neighborhood and park stay with you.
